    কথা হচ্ছিল পরমাণু বিদ্যুতের বিরোধিতা নিয়ে।
    জায়তাপুরে সিপিএম সেটা করেছিল এবং ডিডিদার সরল গোলগাল থিয়োরী অনুযায়ী তাহলে সিপিএম কে নকু বলতে হয় !

    তবে আরেস্পি তো কেরলেও আছে। শুনি নি তারা কোনো প্রতিবাদ করেছিলো। আর ভু ভারোতে বামদল তো কতই। কংরেস, তিনোমুল থেকে সিপিআই,সিপিএম ইঃ। একটা দুটো রিজিওনাল পাট্টী হয়তো পরমাণু মাত্রেই খারাব ভাবে,নকুদের মতোন।

    ...Clearly, the CPIM is not convinced by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s assurance to Parliament on Monday that all the 20 Indian nuclear power plants were safe.

    The CPIM’s Politburo on Tuesday called for an immediate halt to the Jaitapur project. It said in a statement here that the local people have been totally opposed to the location of the plant in their area and refused to accept the forcible acquisition of their lands and added that a CPI (M) delegation which recently visited the area confirmed this fact.

    Given the crisis which has developed in some of the nuclear power reactors in Japan after the tsunami and the threat of a meltdown, it is imperative that the environmental clearance given to the project be withdrawn. The issue should be reexamined,” the CPIM said.

    The party, which leads the four-party Left Front, said the Jaitapur power project is to be set-up with imported nuclear plants from the French company, Areva. It pointed out that these reactors based on the European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) technology have not been commissioned for operation anywhere in the world yet....

    ৪। প্রায়োরিটি। নিউক্লিয়ার পাওয়ারে প্রায়োরিটি নয়। কয়লা, গ্যাস, সূর্য -- এইসব প্রাকৃতিক বস্তুই সরকারের প্রায়োরিটি হওয়া উচিত।

    "কোথাও কোনো অবস্থাতেই কোনো নিউক্লিয়ার প্ল্যান্ট চলবেনা" -- এরকম হার্ডকোর স্ট্যান্ড হাতে গোনা এক আধজনেরই আছে। ২,৩,৪ হল মোটামুটি ভাবে তথাকথিত নকুদের স্ট্যান্ড। সিপিএম তার সঙ্গে "বিদেশী প্রযুক্তি" যোগ করেছে।

    এবং, শেষ লাইনটি প্রণিধানযোগ্য। The prime minister’s delusion of a “nuclear renaissance” and the government’s plan to dot the country with imported mega nuclear parks must be resolutely opposed. The various movements of the people developing against the imported nuclear plants should be made into a national movement.

    FPIC, বা প্রকল্প হাতে নেবার আগে সেখানকার অধিবাসীদের অংশগ্রহণ করানো এবং তাদের মতামত নেওয়া, সেই মতামতের ভিত্তিতে এগনো। এটা করতে পারলে পুঁজিবাদী ব্যাব্স্থাতেও কিছু ইতিবাচক পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া সন্ভব। কুদান্কুলাম, জয়িতাপুর ইত্যাদি বহু জায়্গাতেই প্রাণপন সংগ্রামের বিনিময়ে এই অধিকার অর্জন করতে হবে। এই আন্দোলনগুলোর প্রয়োজনীয়্তা আমরা হয়তো দশ বছর পরে বুঝবো।

  • SEZ। কোনোক্রমে একটু সময় বাঁচিয়ে টুক করে নেট ঘেঁটে দেখলাম যে পঃ বঃ সমেত ১৩ স্টেটে অলরেডী আছে SEZ, আর এরাই সব বড়ো বড়ো রাজ্য।

    কোন পার্টী তাদের ইস্তাহারে বা কোন ন্যাতা কোনো ল্যাখায় SEZ কে গাল দিয়েছেন জানি না। কিন্তু এই ১৩টা স্টেটে তো সব রকোমেরই সরকার ঘুড়ে গ্যাছে।

    কেউ বাধা দিয়েছে? মমতা ছাড়া? জানি না।

    তেমতি নিউক্লিয়ার পাওয়ার নিয়ে কোন দল "একেবারে না" করেছে,অদ্যাবধি? কন্ডিশনাল প্রতিবাদ,কুডানকুলামে ডিসকাউন্ট আর হরিপুরায় আছি এই টাইপের নয়। এটোমিক এনার্জি চাই না, আদৌ না..... এটা কোনো পার্টীর ইস্তাহারে আছে?

    আর কারাত বাবু যেমতি বলেছেন, ঈশেনের লিং অনুযায়ী,"সর্বত্র বিদিশি রিয়াক্টর এনে সারা ভারোতে ডট ডট ডট করে দিলে মারবো কিন্তু"। এটার কি মানে? স্বদেশি রিয়াক্টরে আপোত্তি নেই, অনেক গুলি হলেও নেই? বিদেশিতেও নেই, যদি অল্পো স্বল্পো থাকে? আসোলে এই সব ঝানু পোলিটিসিয়ানেরা সব দিকে রেখেই খ্যালেন। দরকার হলেই যে কোনো দিকে টাল্লা খাওয়া যায়।

    কিন্তু তক্কোটা হচ্ছে কি নিয়ে? থিমটা কি?

    people’s movements should demand of our government that it should initiate an open debate on the future energy policy, and make available all cost and safety information on nuclear power. One major objective of the policy should be to phase out coal share as rapidly as practicable. In the meantime, coal power should be made a lot safer than now, for those living around the power plants and coal mines. The demand should be that all future nuclear plants should be put on hold – and so should coal plants too – until such a time-bound review of policy is carried out, public consultations are held and debated in the parliament.
    The other demands could be:

    A truly independent nuclear regulatory authority
    Safety audit of existing plants by the independent regulatory authority and making it public
    Making public previous safety audits and actions taken
    Repeal of the Nuclear Liability Act
    No ratification of IAEA’s Convention on Supplementary Compensation.

    যেন সিপিএমের কার্বন কপি। কোত্থাও বলা নাই, সব নিউক্লিয়ার প্ল্যান্ট ভোগে যাক। অবশ্য এটাই লিবারেশনের "অফিশিয়াল" স্ট্যান্ড কিনা সেটা একবার ভেরিফাই করা দরার (যদিও স্মৃতি বলছে, স্ট্যান্ডটা মোটামুটি এরকমই)।

    একটা জায়গায় তফাত আছে। কুড়ানকালামে সিপিএম অ্যাকটিভ নয়, লিবারেশন অ্যাকটিভ। কিন্তু সেইটা দিয়ে তো স্টান্ড বোঝা যায়না।

    কিন্তু নিজেদের মধ্যেই লাঠালাঠি। মুই ব্যারাল না তুই ব্যারাল গোছের। জাস' রিটোরিকের ফারাক।

    বল্লাম না, টিপিক্যাল?

  • এই খবরটা মিডিয়াতে সেভাবে আসেনি ... কুডানকুলামের ইদিনথাকারাই আর সুনামি নগর থেকে আসা একটি কাতর আবেদন। KKNPP subcontractor ৫০ লাখ টাকা ছড়িয়ে পেটো মারছে... হুমকি দিচ্ছে ... পুলিশ যথারীতি... যাক সে সব কথা .. ফেসবুকে DiaNuke group এ এটা পোস্ট করা আছে চাইলে ফলো করতে পারেন ... কপি পেস্ট করে দিলাম PMANE (People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy) র স্টেটমেন্টটা।

    এর পরে পরেই উদয় কুমারের আপডেট থেকে জানা গেল পুলিশ ৬৫ জনের নামে এফ-আই-আর করেছে। ৫০ জনের নাম আছে ১৫ জনের নাম নেই। উদয় কুমারের স্টেটমেন্টটাও দিয়ে দিলাম। উদয় কুমার প্রশ্ন করছেন মিথ্যা বলতেও কি ন্যুনতম লজিক দরকার আছে?

    A KKNPP subcontractor hurled country-made bombs at Idinthakarai

    On August 24, 2013 around 10:30 pm, four identified men hurled three country-made bombs at Idinthakarai and near the Tsunami Nagar here. People of Idinthakarai rang the Church bell and the village community congregated immediately. There are eye-witness reports that four pro-KKNPP men, Kapoor (s/o Siluvai Anthony, age 33), Socrates (s/o Siluvai Anthony, age 36), Lawrence (s/o Siluvai Anthony, age 38), and Sathip (s/o Bernard, age 22) exploded these bombs near the bus stop and at Tsunami Nagar in Idinthakarai. We immediately reported the incident to the Kudankulam police formally through a written petition.

    On August 23, 2013, two men from Idinthakarai (P.L. Anthony Santiagu and Walter Edwin, a former panchayat president) had pasted a poster thanking the KKNPP administration for donating Rs. 25 lakh worth fishnets to 50 men from our area. We found out that the above-mentioned men along with the pro-KKNPP bomber Kapoor (s/o Siluvai Anthony) had given some 50 names to the KKNPP administration and obtained the fishnets. Most of these beneficiaries are either from non-fishing villages or fishermen who do not engage in fishing at all. The above men sold these fishnets to a store at Nagercoil for a meager amount. It is learnt that some KKNPP officials, police officers and intelligence officials have worked hand in glove with these men for personal material gain.

    They also had the intention to divide the Idinthakarai community, incite violence between groups and to undermine the ongoing agitation against the KKNPP. Sensing this devious scheme, the Village Committee meeting had been called at 6 pm on August 23rd and the people decided to meet again at 10 am on August 24th. People discussed the dangerous designs of the above-mentioned anti-social elements and the patronage that they enjoy from some of the KKNPP officials, some police officers and intelligence officials. The village community decided to continue the meeting again at 10 am on August 25th.

    In order to abort the meeting and to protect themselves from the Rs. 25-lakh scam, the anti-social elements under the leadership of the KKNPP subcontractor Kapoor have hurled three powerful bombs in the village. Three women Mary (w/o Sebastian, age 75), Amali (w/o Nasren, age 70) and Lilly Pushpam (w/o Clement, age 58) had seen the bombers as they were walking towards the Lourdes Church. Many people who had gathered at the Velankanni Church near Tsunami Nagar also saw the culprits.

    The culprits live in a nearby village called Parameswarapuram and police personnel have been deployed to protect them. We are sure that these anti-social elements, the KKNPP officials, police and intelligence officers are all together hatching a dangerous conspiracy to undermine our struggle and to divert the national attention from the failed KKNPP Units 1 and 2.

    We appeal to the people of India and the larger world to keep an eye on us and to protect us.

    The Koodankulam police have filed an FIR against some 65 of us (15 named and 50 unnamed accused; I am A1 along with Rayan, MiPa, Muhilan, Milton, Kebiston, Rajalingam etc.). I have a doubt though. How many people does it take to hurl 5 bombs? And how can a large group of 65 people do that simple task? Even lying requires some logic, doesn't it?

    এর পরে পরেই উদয় কুমারের আপডেট থেকে জানা গেল পুলিশ ৬৫ জনের নামে এফ-আই-আর করেছে। ৫০ জনের নাম আছে ১৫ জনের নাম নেই। উদয় কুমারের স্টেটমেন্টটাও দিয়ে দিলাম। উদয় কুমার প্রশ্ন করছেন মিথ্যা বলতেও কি ন্যুনতম লজিক দরকার আছে?

    A KKNPP subcontractor hurled country-made bombs at Idinthakarai

    On August 24, 2013 around 10:30 pm, four identified men hurled three country-made bombs at Idinthakarai and near the Tsunami Nagar here. People of Idinthakarai rang the Church bell and the village community congregated immediately. There are eye-witness reports that four pro-KKNPP men, Kapoor (s/o Siluvai Anthony, age 33), Socrates (s/o Siluvai Anthony, age 36), Lawrence (s/o Siluvai Anthony, age 38), and Sathip (s/o Bernard, age 22) exploded these bombs near the bus stop and at Tsunami Nagar in Idinthakarai. We immediately reported the incident to the Kudankulam police formally through a written petition.

    On August 23, 2013, two men from Idinthakarai (P.L. Anthony Santiagu and Walter Edwin, a former panchayat president) had pasted a poster thanking the KKNPP administration for donating Rs. 25 lakh worth fishnets to 50 men from our area. We found out that the above-mentioned men along with the pro-KKNPP bomber Kapoor (s/o Siluvai Anthony) had given some 50 names to the KKNPP administration and obtained the fishnets. Most of these beneficiaries are either from non-fishing villages or fishermen who do not engage in fishing at all. The above men sold these fishnets to a store at Nagercoil for a meager amount. It is learnt that some KKNPP officials, police officers and intelligence officials have worked hand in glove with these men for personal material gain.

    They also had the intention to divide the Idinthakarai community, incite violence between groups and to undermine the ongoing agitation against the KKNPP. Sensing this devious scheme, the Village Committee meeting had been called at 6 pm on August 23rd and the people decided to meet again at 10 am on August 24th. People discussed the dangerous designs of the above-mentioned anti-social elements and the patronage that they enjoy from some of the KKNPP officials, some police officers and intelligence officials. The village community decided to continue the meeting again at 10 am on August 25th.
